The Orchid Hotel is independently owned and privately run, setting it apart from many of the hotels in Bournemouth . Since opening in 2004, The Orchid Hotel has become a successful and unique venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, private events, business conferences, short breaks and special occasions.
The Orchid Hotel is elegant and unpretentious, located in the exclusive tree-lined East Cliff area of Bournemouth. The inspirational interiors carry an Indonesian theme, reflected in the hand made darkwood furniture, accessories and colourful canvases throughout the hotel.
The Asian theme ripples out into a secluded courtyard at the heart of the hotel where you will find serenity amongst the tropical ferns, Indonesian statues and private thatched pagodas, whisking you away mentally for a moment to a far flung destination.
The Orchid Hotel is an original alternative to the larger hotels in the area, with just 34 bedrooms, the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, provided by a team of friendly professional staff offering great service.
Owners Vision
"For many years, it had been my vision to create a Boutique–style hotel in Bournemouth, due to the lack of contemporary accommodation in the area at the time. The Indonesian themed interior was inspired by many years of traveling and collecting beautiful handmade items many of which were used as finishing touches in the interior."
